Palm Springs Tramway
The largest rotating tramcar in the world resides in Palm Springs. It’s a great change of scenery from the desert landscape as you ascend to 8,500 feet. When you get to the top of the tramway, you’ve made it to Mount San Jacinto State Park, where there’s a variety of activities in both the summer and winter months. But our favorite place is Peaks restaurant, where you can eat delicious, locally sourced food overlooking a stunning view of Coachella Valley.
